Practical
Information
Maps of York showing the location of the university campus can be
obtained hereand here. Mathematics
is in Goodricke College, building 24 on the campus
map. Here is the map
of car parks on campus. The taxi fare from the railway station is
around
£6. Buses are supposed to be every 15 minutes, but can be rather
random -- sometimes one has to wait half-an-hour. The station is on the
north-west side of York while the campus is about a mile and a half
south-east
of the city centre: the walk takes about 35 minutes.
