North British Mathematical Physics Seminar

The North British Mathematical Physics Seminar was officially established on 1 October 2001, with partial support from the London Mathematical Society in the form of a Scheme 3 grant. Its purpose is to allow mathematical physicists from the North of Britain to meet regularly. Three one-day meetings are held in rotation every year in Edinburgh, Durham or Newcastle, and Nottingham or York. All meetings are open to all.

The NBMPS meetings are held on a variety of days, including Saturdays. While potential participants will have many other commitments, we aim to be inclusive. If childcare is a specific issue, note that the LMS administers Childcare Supplementary Grants. See here for details and how to apply.

In order to claim travel expenses (second class rail, bus, (shared) taxi for local travel) please complete this excel form. Under "Reasons for claim" please specify NBMPS meeting (date). Please also fill in a copy of either the UK bank details form or Overseas bank details form, and email these forms along with (digital or scanned copies of) receipts/tickets to Benoit Vicedo.
